inspiron 1100 screen size

Question

i have seen this question many times. when my screen res is lower than 1024x768 it does not stretch to the edges of the screen. they say to use fn+f7, but that does not work for me. is there any other way of doing this?

Welcome to the Dell Community Forum,

The Inspiron 1100 optimal resolution is 1024*768. Lowering the resolution will put a border around the LCD and Fn+F7 doesn't work on this system. Hope that this helps.
