boot from USB flashdisk - BIOS upgrade??

 have two questions:
 
1. Will the latest BIOS version of my Latitude C640 (V. A10) support booting from a USB stick?
2. Is the built in USB port v1.1 or 2.0 complient?

1.  No USB boot for Latitude C-series.
2.  USB 1.1

I thought that the C400 allowed boot from USB,  but I might be mistaken since I have never used one...
