XPS doesn't recognize projector
My xps laptop running on windows 7 doesn't recognize any projector. Up to last week it would work fine but suddenly it doesn't recognize any projector. I have tried changing VGA cable and such solutions related to projector but none of them worked. Any idea on whatcould be wrong?

Old VGA projectors do not work at resolution greater than 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768.
