XP driver support
I have a 1330. Deleted Vista and replaced with XP pro. Didn't follow the proper sequence and the wireless card was not recognized. After repeated attempts to correct, I reloaded XP operating system expecting to properly sequence the drivers installation. Unfortunately I didn't back up system info and discovered that Dell is not supporting the XP drivers on the web site. Device manager on the XPS missing all harware information. I'm not a techie and need direction. What do I do to get this system going. Reloading Vista is not an option.
Thank you for helping.

Checked in the driver area for your m1330 and it looks like the supplied drivers for Vista also work for XP also so they should work off of your driver disk that came with the system.
If you goto the driver download page at: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=XPS_M1330&os=WLH&osl=en&catid=&impid=
And look at the compatibilty on the Bottom of Each driver it will tell what OS's the Driver will work for.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the feedback.
Only the Nvidia driver shows up as XP compatible. Others show up as 1330 or vista. I don't understand the 1330 designation but I'm going to try the drivers there to see what happens. I'm finding that some of my software works under both systems. Maybe the drivers will do the same. Will advise if it works with those listed. Once again. Thanks for helping.
