Network Driver displays exclamation marks.

 I have Dell Studio 1435 laptop. How to fix my network drivers it displays exclamation marks and says about this error code 31. pls. help.. thank you        :emotion-1:

Hi TrideNT32,

We regret the inconvenience caused, you can try installing the Network drivers from the Dell’s support website by clicking on the below link:
http://dell.to/1dFtXxL

Type in the Service tag, Under Drivers and downloads select the Operating system and install the Chipset and Network drivers and restart the computer once done.

Please complete these steps and let us know your findings.

Ok sir Munawar P..I'll inform you if I already done it. Im on Business trip now and I left the laptop at home..Thank you sir..

And I couldn't connect to the web with that laptop..Is it ok if I use another pc to download the drivers then copy them to my Studio 1435?

Hi TrideNT32,

Thank you for your response, You can use another computer in order to download the Chipset and Network drivers on the computer.
As mentioned please click on the below mentioned link and save the drivers on the computer.

Type in the Service tag, Under Drivers and downloads select the Operating system and install the Chipset and Network drivers and try saving it on a USB flash drive and try installing the same on your computer.

I already installed the chipset as well as the network drivers but nothing changed, when i try to connect to the internet it says that my network adapter is closed. what should i do with this.? thank you sir.. appreciate your help...

Thank you for your response, please do check under Device Manager if all the drivers are installed successfully and also provide us the screen shot of the same. Please click on the below link which has some troubleshooting steps for fixing issue with the Network Adaptor.

Hi sir.. I run the troubleshooter but this one appeared.

so i run the diagnose and repair for the network ..here is the result.

Thank you for your response, It looks like the Network drivers for LAN and Wireless are installed successfully and please let us know the means of connecting online. Also let us know who is your Internet Service Provider (ISP) ? You might the following steps below to fix the exclamation marks.

Right click the Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface
Update Driver Software...
Browse my computer for driver software
Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
Select from the list and update the driver.


You may also try

Right click the Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface
Update Driver Software..
Browse the driver online and fix the issue

Please try the same on the other devices as well and let us know if that helps.

I couldnt connect to the internet with that laptop so i cant check it online. and when i do update and browse the computer and pick the device. it just says that the device is up to date but nothing changed. and one thing sir, there is an adapter that was missing in that list .. its the Atheros network adapter..

Good day sir. when i opened my laptop recently it got multiple problem ,, it say about this winsock and etc .Is there something i can do to correct this sir? I think the whole system had a problem now .. what can i do with this sir.. ?

My ISP is Verison Wireless. I have already tried the first steps you describe. My pc is only about a week old. Why am I having problems already? The problem does not seem to be affecting anything. My printer and internet are working fine. I am not sure how to get it online??
