Hi Tahreem,
Update Audio drivers on the computer.
I have provided a link for drivers download:
• Visit the Support website
• Enter the Service tag of the computer in the box provided and click “Submit”.
• In the next page, click drop down arrow to select the Operating System which is installed in the computer.
• Under category AUDIO, click “Download File” and save the file on desktop.
• Double click the file and follow the onscreen instructions.
If the issue persists, run PC diagnostics on the computer. Let the diagnostics complete and check if the speakers work during diagnostics.
Select “Symptom” and then click on No sound and Run Diagnostics.
Awaiting your response!

I would advise that you try to install this one:
IDT-Driver Recommended 9/29/2011 6.10.0.6341, A03
Some people have reported problems with the other one.
Click on "Download File", not on "Add to My Download List", and then follow the instructions of Dell_Rajesh R. Do not update the BIOS unless instructed to do so by Dell_Rajesh R.

It probably will not fix the speaker but re-installing the audio driver is part of the process of diagnosing the problem. If doing this does fix the speaker then no further action is necessary.
