I am having the same issue.  The screen on my Dell Inspirion 13 7000 is blinking none stop.  I went to the dell support site and ran the diagnostic tests, they came back good to go and then five minutes later the screen took a dump on me again.  I am running the diagnostic again and reporting this to Dell.  Its my personal opinion there is a glitch that needs to be fixed.  My laptop is only 3 weeks old and I have barely touched it.

This situation is getting old fast.

What is the exact model number? did you update the BIOS or any driver prior to this incident. Check in the BIOS (f2) at dell logo to see if the hard drive is being detected. Also if you have windows 8 or higher, UEFI boot should be enabled and secure boot should be on.

@Murph,

You may have to use another computer and download a USB media to reinstall the OS.  Please refer to the link below

@abgracia

Hi,

Please share the error message or a image of the screen that shows up before the system crashes, assuming that you are getting a BSOD( Blue screen of Death). It is generally caused by incompatible drivers which comes from updates. Also please  share the current OS on the system and the exact system model.

Is a live account (user name is an email address) that has been setup? If so please visit accounts.live.com and reset your password there. then restart the computer for the changes to take effect. Make sure the system is connected to the internet at all times.
