How to use the memory card reader in Dell XPS 15 (L502X)?

There's usually a blank card in the reader.  Gently press on it and it should pop partway out, so you can remove it and install the memory card (the same way - press it in until it locks).

I have the same problem. I think I am putting the card in right, but I don't see where you can access it. No icon, and tried Winters explorer.

If the card is not compatible or inserted incorrectly, it will not show up in Windows Explorer. You need to say what model computer, operating system and type and size of card. Older card readers might not be able to see newer extra large capacity cards. Check your manual online at Dell Support.

I have an XPS 15Z with Windows 7 64 bit. The card is SD 4Gigbit. Could'nt find anythind in the manual.

I have the opposite problem!

I have got the memory card into the reader without a proble - even managed to print a couple of photos!

I cannot get the card out of the readre and there seems to be no mention of this in the instructions!

If you push on the SD card, you should hear a click.  This will allow the SD card to be removed.
In the future, you should start your own thread to get more attention.  Once this thread has an accepted answer, not many will follow the thread.
