How to rotate screen 90 degrees on an Inppspiron laptop.

I have an older Inspiron laptop.while open but sleeping, the cat decided to sleep on the keyboard. When I tried to do some work, I discovered that the screen had rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise to a landscape - sideways view. My question is how do I rotae the screen back to a normal position? Thnk you, in advance.

CTRL - ALT - UP ARROW   should work.

Note that it is possible to disable the keyboard shortcut for scree rotation on many laptops if you look around in Graphics Properties.

Happy to find this as I too have a cat that likes to park on my keyboards. What command rotates the screen away from normal? Previously I had to go to a restore point to revert

Ctrl - Alt - (any arrow) should rotate the screen inthat direction. For example, CTRL - ALT - Down Arrow turns screen upside down.

Most computers have a way to disable that screen rotation, and I do that. I have NEVER had an instance where I actually wanted it rotated, and I would guess that applies to most users....
