Fn Key is locked on

I have a Studio laptop and I've found that when I press Shift+Fn the Fn key stays on and will not go off. I've tried pressing the Num Lk key and the Fn key and nothing seems to turn it off. Its really annoying because the only way I can get it to turn off is if I restart my computer. Any help would be appreciated.
