External Video Cards
I am thinking about getting an external graphics but I am not sure about them. I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade or change the graphics card in a laptop or whether an external one is the best option. If so what extrenal card is the best. This is specifically gaming related.
Thank you for any help

Wow, I did not even realize you could have an external graphics card for a laptop, but it looks like there is one available now. But it looks like this is the only one out so far. I don't know how good it is for the kind of gaming you want to do. Most laptop graphics cards are not very good and they are hard to replace and/or upgrade.

Even that one - the ASUS XG Station, though announced in January 07, hasn't shipped - and there are those wondering if it ever will.

No upgrade - that's the best you can do with this model.
Since it's due to be replaced imminently, there'll be no upgrade for it.
