Hi kunlin jie,

You may try to run an onboard diagnostic test on your computer to ensure the correct functionality of system hardware. For more details, you may refer to link: http://dell.to/OUGnqT

You may try is to use your computer in safe mode and see if the issue still persists:

  • Restart the computer.
  • Tap the F8 key on the keyboard during the boot process until you see the Windows Advanced Options Menu on the screen.
  • Select “Safe Mode with Networking” from the menu using the arrow keys on the keyboard and then press the key.
  • Select the user account at the log in screen.
  • See if it exhibits the same behavior.

If the tests pass and issue persists, you may download an application 'Bluescreen view' to check the file that is causing this issue. You can download it from the link: http://bit.ly/QWjBig

Bluescreen View scans all your minidump files created during 'blue screen of death' crashes, and displays the information about all crashes in one table. You can view the details of the device drivers loaded during the crash in the lower pane. BlueScreenView also mark the drivers that their addresses found in the crash stack, so you can easily locate the suspected drivers that possibly caused the crash. Please let me know the file name causing this issue.

Please share the findings.

Hi kunlin jie,

Thank you for the information.

It appears to be an issue with operating system. You may perform a factory image restore on your computer. Before you proceed, I will advise you to take a complete backup of your data (pictures, music, applications, videos, documents) as this step leads to complete data loss. Remove all the external peripherals (like printers, scanners, any USB device except keyboard and mouse) connected to your computer.

For more information on PC restore, you can refer to link: http://dell.to/10BDOzg

Do reply in case you have any further questions. I'll be glad to assist.
