Dell inspiron power button stuck
It seems my power button is stuck on the low position (when I press I dont feel it click). Yet the fan is working so tge lap top is not off. I tried wiggling the button a little, it moves a little but from side to side in its socket, but not up or down. What can I do??

It would help to know exactly what model you have (Inspiron 3521, N5110, etc.) so we can recommend the proper replacement part.

Can't it be repaired/unstuck rather than replaced? How can i know the button's mechanism is truely broken?

You can try that, but it's likely the microswitch on the button board is faulty and that part will need to be replaced.
Service manual is here:
