Dell PremierColor and monitor calibration

I'm a photographer, and I use i1 Display to generate a profile for the display I'm using.

When I use the i1 Display profile on my XPS 15 9550, the display dims. The colors are OK. It looks like there's a bad interaction between Dell PremierColor and the profile.

Is the only solution to uninstall Dell PremierColor? Or is there a way to make Dell PremierColor work with a display profile?

Hi twhelan55

Thanks for posting.

PremierColor is created by 'Portrait Displays'.

They have an online form for technical support: www.portrait.com/.../support_contact_dtune.php

They are aware about an issue where PremierColor does not work in combination with a recent video driver update installed through a Windows 10 update.

Thanks for writing. I sent a support question using the Portrait Displays online form two weeks ago, no answer.

I don't think it's a video driver issue - in any case I reverted to an earlier Intel video driver.
