The problem

1. The funtion keys work directly that is FN+F2 switches on/off the wireless but here it works directly.

2. the other thing is the bluetooth doesnt seem to be working.

this the status it shows. . "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

Hello,

The reason why F2 directly turns on the wireless instead of Fn+F2 is because the Function Key behavior might have been set to Multimedia. We need to change the settings from Multimedia to Function Key. Please follow the steps mentioned below to change the settings.
-- Click Start.
-- In the search program and files tab type “windows mobility center”.
-- Select “Windows Mobility Center” from the list.
-- Look for the option “function key behavior”.
-- If on multimedia change it to function key.
-- Save it and exit.
-- Restart the computer and check the functionality.

Regarding the issue with Bluetooth, that it gives error as "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)", I would suggest updating the BIOS to latest version. Refer the following link to update the Bios: http://dell.to/UmY8yD

Please try the steps and write back with results, would be glad to assist further.

Hi.

Thank you for replying, I was doing a research on this issue and came across this document which might fix the issue. Refer the following link which might help in fixing the issue: http://bit.ly/Tu7XMt

I would also suggest you to run the Microsoft fix it which might be helpful. The following Link would help you with the same.

Hello,

Apologies for the late response. In such case, we would have to uninstall and re-install the Bluetooth driver.
-- Click start.
-- Open Control Panel.
-- Open Device Manager.
-- Choose Network Adapters.
-- Uninstall the Bluetooth driver.
-- Restart the computer.
-- Download and Install the Bluetooth drivers.
-- Choose the Bluetooth adapter from the list under Network Adapters and install it.
Restart the computer and check the functionality.

Please write back to us with results.
