3d vision

how can I enable 3d vision?

I have laptop inspiron n5110 i5 with vga card nividia GT 525m , and I don't seem to be able to make any use of the nividia card as I can't open jps files and when I try to open it I get this message "primary display adapter does not support nividia 3d vision"

I also can't improve the screen refresh rate or change the resolution as they all programmed to use the intel graphic card and when I tried to change my preferred graphic processor to nividia my system stop responding , also when I looked at the resolutions options in nividia control panel I noticed that they didn't display nividia's resolutions and there were this message "some resolutions are not available because of a defective or low-capacity cable"

so please help me figure out what is the problem exactly because I'm totally lost , what cable does this message refer to and can I change it or not to enable the 3d vision and make use of nividia's other utilities

and if the problem is not within the cable so what is it then ? please help

3D Vision is not supported by GT 525M.  I'd reinstall the video drivers from nvidia.com but I know what you mean about the "some resolutions are not available because of a defective or low-capacity cable," I have that notification when in the NVIDIA control panel "Change Resolution" section.  I cant find anything about it.  For me, I ordered a monitor with a 1080p screen and I got sent a 1366x768 screen.  Sent in a request to dell.
