Updating to latest AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition Adrenalin 22.3.1 Recommended (WHQL) on Dell G5 15 SE 5505
After updating to the latest drivers SmartShift has been disabled!!!Funnily this laptop was advertised for smartshift!!!
Will Dell do anything about it??Or we are left to suffer now that you dont sell the laptop anymore??

The "SmartShift" you mentioned means AMD SmartShift.
There's some instance of the neither-lands. Else if AMD think that the SmartShift is too old, got some bare new alternatives to replace, nor if Dell think SmartShift is too heavy for that Dell G5. SmartShift debuted since about 2020 or 2019, but today's 2022, I think AMD gonna replaced SmartShift maybe with an alternative that they could annouced.
As I'm on another, later generation "modern" G15 5515, I could NEVER be able that wether if AMD or Dell done anything with the feature you mentioned, but AMD SmartShift maybe got replaced atleast with their own AMD FidelityFX.
