Order number not yet assigned

I had ordered dell Inspiron 5590 on 9th June 2020. Its been two days, my order number is not assigned yet. My order is not visisble on "Orders" tab too. Though, dell sent me a mail with my IRN number. I don't understand what is wrong with Dell. I decided to purchase dell laptop for its amazing support team. But it seems I was wrong. The support team is not even receiving my calls. Please help me, if any one knows what to do next.

Also you should post in Customer Care Forum they have Dell Employees there that may or may not help you. https://www.dell.com/community/Customer-Care/bd-p/Customer-Care?ref=lithium_menu

I would suggest you use Dell Chat to contact Dell to check the order of your new computer.

Due to heavy load and less manpower, Dell chat is always unavailable whenever I tried to chat with them

Orders can take a week or more to be verified/confirmed. Dell is closed on weekends so wait until next week to hear from them. Tech Support does not handle orders.

Hi,

I'm sorry about the late response due to spike in volume.

I understand you placed an order and received only an IRN number. 

This is an acknowledgment for the order placed online. This should be followed by an order confirmation email in 48 hours. Can you share the IRN number so that I can check this for you? Also, share the name of the registered owner and email ID. Do share these details in a private message.

My problem has been solved now. Actually there was an issue with the payment. After almost 20-25 calls, dell finally answered my call. And send me the quote for my failed payment. Now the order is in production. Thank you for help.

Really what a frustrating experience. It's been more than 4 days of ordering the Laptop & still the status is showing not yet assigned. Customer support is always busy. If this is the support to a customer while buying a new product, then I can't imagine what it would be when there is a problem later after purchasing.
