Dell G7 on vertical stand
Hello! My laptop is fine, I have just a small question, is it okay to use it while standing vertically? I'm currently using an external monitor and decided to improvise a vertical stand by tilting aluminum stand I had. Anyway, the laptop stands closed at almost 90 degrees, tilting a little to the lid's side that rests on some tall books, while the heat exaustors face foward (towards me). The Dell G7 have that weird design on its back, which is asymmetrical and feels a bit plastic-y, so I'm wondering if that can break, as it's sitting directly on the table supporting most of the laptop's weight (almost 3kg!), and also if there's a chance of the lid/screen getting warped or something. I'm using it like that 24/7 basically, I still turn it off sometimes. I almost never use it on battery mode because it only lasts an hour or so.
I bought it on january 2019 so my warranty is long gone and I'm afraid of causing it any problems because it's the only PC I have.
Thanks in advance!
