Connecting Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 Series with DELL3007 WFP HC with WQXGA

Is it possible to connect my Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 Series with my DELL3007 WFP HC with WQXGA resolution?

DELL3007 WFP HC with WQXGA has DVI-D dual link connection.

DELL Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 Series (7573) has HDMI or USB C.

@Szablo  when I go to support.dell.com, I don't see an Inspiron 15 7578 listed.  The closest I see is a 7579.  If that's what you meant to type, then the Setup and Specifications guide for that system indicates that its USB-C port supports display output, in which case you should be fine if you want to go that route.  This adapter seems to be a good choice.  StarTech also makes one, and while I'm a fan of their products because they tend to be solid, user reviews suggest that their USB-C to Dual Link DVI adapter doesn't work as well as it arguably should.

@Szablo  no worries at all, happy to help.  The information on the 7573 is a bit conflicted.  The product page just says "USB 3.1 Type-C", which normally means a data-only port.  However, the Setup and Specifications document does mention the ability to connect an external display, and the image shows a "DP" logo next to the USB-C port, which would definitely signify video output capabilities.  So take a look at the USB-C port on your actual system.  Do you see a small "DP" logo to the right of it?  If so, then you're good to go.  The logo I'm referring to is pictured here, for reference.

@Szablo  I don't know of any HDMI to dual link DVI adapters.  There are a handful of USB-C to dual link DVI adapters that should work, but they're quite expensive.  That's likely due to limited demand since dual link DVI displays aren't all that common in the USB-C era, in fact they weren't all that common EVER because so few displays back then used a resolution that required it, and by the time displays running those resolutions became more prevalent, DisplayPort had arrived.

@Szablo  in addition to my reply above, note that it assumes that your Inspiron 15 7000 Series model has a USB-C port that actually supports video output.  Not all systems that have USB-C ports support this, and you didn't specify which exact model you have.  "Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1" refers to an entire product line that includes multiple current systems and even more historical systems.  Your exact system model would be something like Inspiron 15 7578 or whatever.

Thanks for your replies. It is an Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1  7578. Does that help you further?

@jphughanThanks for all your help. You're right that I made a mistake. In fact the model is 7573.Does that have display output on the USB-C port as well? Thanks in advance for your answer,
