How/where do I (re) enable the Independent (RTC) headphone device?

Using Windows 7 on a Latitude E4300:   After some experimentation, I discovered that using the Independent headphone driver resulted in the best listening experience for me .  I was fooling around though and disabled the device (Sound > Playback Devices ...Configure).

How do I get it back?  I ran the sound troubleshooter but it didn't find the headphone device and the Windows 7 Hardware wizard is a complete loser.  Reinstalling the IDT driver package didn't help either.

I've never run into anything like this before.  Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I haven't seen this question before. I would have said go to the area where it was previously displayed and right click there and choose "show disabled devices." However it seems to me that reinstalling the driver should have made it reappear.

Thank you!  That did it.  I don't know why Windows 7 hides so many actions but thanks to you I was able to get it working again.

Thanks again.
