Dell Inspiron n4010 scrolling button on touch pad not working
This laptop was purchased on OCT 2011 brand new. the system worked fine until last month that is May 2012. The scroll button on the touch pad got switched off automatically. i have tired going to Control panel and Mouse options but cant find any solution as to how to switch it on again. The Laptop info is as follows:
Dell Inspiron N4010
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(r) CPU P6100 @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz
System Type: 64-bit Operating System
Computer name: MININT-I7I6FTE

Please follow the below step:
Download the install the touchpad drivers and reboot the system. Please find the link below to download the touchpad drivers for your system

I see this is an older post, and saw a more recent one which I installed the drivers that were suggested in that blog which was the following: Inspiron N 4010 Synaptics touchpad drivers: http://dell.to/13xFUxt
I did this, but not sure where to go from here as the suggestion was to configure the touchpad settings, but not sure where those are. I did reboot the system and the touchpad is still not working.
My OS is Windows 7 incase that helps.
