scott98,

If you are running Windows ME, the "Compressed folders" feature will unzip them for you. Otherwise you will need an unzipping program such as Winzip or netzip.

Scott,

Winzip is free for personal use and has a nice wizard that will walk you through zipping/unzipping those pesky .zip files.

Good luck!

Winzip is not free for personal use. You can download a trial version and if you decide to keep it you must register it (for $30 or so) after 30 days of use.

Denny, I downloaded the evaluation version of Winzip many months ago and am still able to use. I just click on the wizard and it unzips stuff with no problem.

I know, but the program doesn't prevent it from being used after the 30 days are up.

Technically though, he's right. Just 'cause you can still use it, doesn't mean it's OK to do so.

Indeed not. And the enlightened attitude of users who continue to use it despite the fact that they are doing so illegally is one of the factors that is driving Microsoft and others to build in anti-piracy features into their software. NicoMak apparently trusts the honesty of their users.

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java.

Retards the lot of ya. WinZip is FREE to use!!!! After the 30 day trial is up it is still free to use! It is not illlegal to use WinZip after the 30 day trial. WinZip is free for personnal use. The only reason to register WinZip is if you feel the program is worth the money and you'd like to help WinZip make better versions. This is a choice though. You do not have to do this. Power users of WinZip will register anyway as will companies. The reason is because you can't make self-executable files unless you register.
