Hi,

Please check if the same issue persists in 'Safe mode with networking'. You can follow the steps below to access safe mode:

  • Restart the computer.
  • Tap the F8 key on the keyboard during the boot process until you see the Windows Advanced Options Menu on the screen.
  • Select “Safe Mode with Networking” from the menu using the arrow keys on the keyboard and then press the key.
  • Select the user account at the log in screen.
  • Try using your computer and see if the same issue persists.

Another step you can try is to go Start --> Control Panel  --> All Control Panel Items  --> Keyboard. You can customize the option for repeat delay and repeat rate -- > Click Apply/Ok to save changes -- > Restart your computer.

Please reply with findings.

A couple of things come to mind, including malware or a problem with the keyboard itself.

Which version of Windows are you using?

It's a drastic solution, but you might try downloading the retail ISO for your version of Windows from Digital River, burning it to DVD, and using it to perform a clean install (without reformatting). Your old Windows install will be archived and your data preserved, and if the keyboard problem is due to software issues, it should be gone.
