STB TV/FM Video card drivers

Hope someone can help... I have a Dell Dimension T-550 with an STB TV/FM card in it.  Op system is Win 98.

Somehow, the application files must have gotten fragged, and I find no disk in my "stash" (original equipment manuals and disks) to reinstall.  I have asked Dell for assistance, and they apparently don't support the STB card anymore, and have ignored repeated requests for assistance (so much for 3-year support).

Does anyone have the files to reinstall?

I have one of these in my Gateway 550 and I was lucky enough to locate drivers at this site.  Although they don't have drivers for XP, at least they didn't at the time, I managed to use the drivers for Win2000 and the card worked.  Give it a try.  Good luck,  LB

I'm not clear on what operating system you are running in your Dell, if its windows 98 I still have my STB installlation disk that came with my Gateway which has the drivers and virtual machine too.  Let me know if you are running 98...happy puting

I only know how to use WinZip to zip the files.  Still don't know if I can email them because they would be rather large in size for email.  Did you try the site I sent for the drivers and software?  By the way that was visual reality, not virtual drive like i stated.  I will find the disk and see if I can zip it to email.

Hi:

Dell may not support the card anymore, but they certainly have the drivers
and application, for  XPS Txxx systems running Win 98, available for download
here:

You want the TVW98.EXE   file. I had to reinstall my STB TV Tuner/FM drivers from there
only 3 days ago, and they work just fine on my T600.

Good luck.

lbrock -- Thanks for your reply.  Joe53 has sent me the Dell site for the driver.

Now why couldn't Dell support have done that... or at least made it accessible on their site?  Have many people been having the same experience with DSN (Dell Support - NOT)??
