Problem with Aladdin Key and HASP
I got a Optiplex GX280 last week, I have been installing the software I need for work, on program requires an Aladdin HASP Key for security, but every time I start this program I get a Blue Screen crash.
The error on the blue screen is DRIVER_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, it also references a file, hardlock.sys and gives memory addresses.
Now, I have updated all drivers from the Aladdin website and have the latest versions of all, I have gotten a diagnostic tool from Aladdin and compared it with a co-worker who has the same set up and his software is running correctly. So I am confused, I am not sure of his chipset/USB controllers, etc. at that level I am unsure, but I know his build of WinXP and he is using SP2 also.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem, or know of a possible fix, or way to locate the problem?
Also maybe I should mention I have a different program which uses a HASP key also, and this program works fine.
If anyone knows about the Aladdin Diagnostic tool, here is most of my report....
