No audio output device is installed
Hi,
I have a Dell Optiplex 745 tower pc with windows 7 professional (64 bit) installed on it,
My pc was working perfectly since when I have bought it until few days ago, I don't know what is the reason but my pc sound
is having some issue.
When ever I start my pc, my sound does not work and there is a red cross sign on my sound icon on the taskbar and it
states that "No audio output device is installed" and then every time I have to uninstall it from My computer ==> device
manager==> system devices and again scan for new hardware which makes sometimes work and sometimes doesn't.
My question is that is there any permanent solution for it? Can anyone please assist/guide me on this?
Thanks & Regards
Hani

Hi hani88,

Let us try these steps in the exact sequence which should resolve the issue
1. Download the audio drivers from the link http://dell.to/Lj6zZ9 & save it on your desktop.
2. Uninstall the audio drivers from the device manager.
3. Once the audio drivers are uninstalled do not restart the system & install the audio drivers from the downloaded file.
