Epson printer driver installation

After spending 3 hours on the phone with Epson and Dell, it was discovered that the reason I could not install the drivers for my new Epson CX4800 printer is because I am not the "administrator" on our home PC. Our son who set up our computer is the administrator and a person has to log on as the administrator to download the drivers. This is not stated in the printer instructions. The only thing the Windows XP error messages said (when trying to load the drivers from my log-in) was "Error-Can not copy to destination directory." Now there's a most unhelpful message!

I have installed software on this computer in the past and did not do it from the "administrator" log-in. Hope this saves someone 3 hours.
