Very disappointing! When the app was working, it was great to use particularly if I was at a conference, as I could take photos of slides and immediately drag them across into my word document. This stopped me from having to do this at a later which often never gets done.
With the implementation of the new app the apps have not been talking to one another and not working. B-(

There are various apps available with similar features and functionality which you can explore. While we are unable to recommend alternative applications that include all the same features as Dell Mobile Connect, there are many listed on app stores with similar features.
We encourage customers to choose an application based on which features are most relevant to their needs.

When we first launched Dell Mobile Connect in early 2018, it was one of a few innovative, globally available applications to connect smartphones and PCs, but newer, more modern options with similar features are now easily available via your favorite app stores.
We currently have no plans to replace the Dell Mobile Connect application, but we regularly review our solutions and portfolio to deliver the best customer experiences.

I'm using Dell Mobile Connect from years on my XPS. Now what? Today I've got the announcement on my laptop and the app is not available anymore, simple stop working (not talking about new download and new installation). Why do you interfere with my machine after I paid a lot for this 4k touchscreen XPS?

Please name ONE of the "various apps available with similar features and functionality".
There are none.

It's because Intel bought Screenovate and appear to be making a standalone app for Intel based PCs. Intel CES 2022 Demo: Screenovate Technology Enables Seamless Sharing - YouTube.

This is pretty terrible news. One of the main reasons I went with Alienware was after seeing this app on a friend's machine. I doubt I would have purchased this machine otherwise, so this is pretty shady just leaving your customers with no replacement for a feature that many of us use as part of our daily workflows. This is a pretty awful decision.
