Rebate scam

Purchased a tv and some other electronics on Black Friday. I was to receive a 250.00rebate with in 30 days. Every time I call customer service I'm on hold for 45 minutes and then told to wait 5 days and that there is no manager on the floor.  This is a total scam. I've called 3 additional time wait on hold for 45 minutes and the told to wait 5 days. So frustrating. Same thing every time I get an email but after 5 days nothing.

Hi Ezouts,

Thanks for posting.

Apologies for the confusion regarding your rebate.  If you are referring to your Dell Advantages Rewards, the information I've been given shows that they will be posted the first week of January.  Thanks for your patience.

Inam in the same boat, but biught my TV at the end of October.  I still don't have my $250 gift card.  I have emailed back and forth with an off shore Dell representative that just keeps telling me to wait a little longer.  I filed a complaint with the BBB a few days ago and plan to have my credit card company issue a chargeback on Monday.  It is a scam and there are a lot of reports of this out there.  It's too. Ad that Dell has chosen to do. Usiness in this manner.  I would never have bought the TV without the gift card offer.

This is a scam I wish I could return all electronics. I will never do business with a company like dell. It's been 7 days since my last call to dell. So am l to call again and wait 45 min for some one to tell me to wait another 5 days.

Except that would be today and no one is receiving their Advantage Rewards.  Like others here, my $110 rebate for a laptop purchased in November is nowhere to be found.  4 phone calls, 4 chat sessions, countless hours have all resulted in nothing happening.  Transfers from one rep to another, always to be told to wait a few more days. This type of incompetence is unacceptable! Today I wanted to buy another laptop.  I scored what I thought was a good deal and contacted Dell to explain my situation and asked for my Advantage Rewards to be applied.  They could verify my record and see what I had earned.  Flat out refused my request, and to top it off, while I was on the phone the price in my cart was increased by $98!!

My account still shows a balance of $0.  I managed to speak with a Dell rep yesterday who told me I should see my rewards balance in 5 business days.  Of course, I've been told that three times already. . .

Nothing followed link and nothing. But from the sounds of it dell does this to everyone. And they know you can not talk to anyone to resolve issue.

Robert solve this problem or have some one who can contact me.

He did by telling you the first week of January.

Ezouts,

Today is the last day of the 1st week of January.  Has your Dell Advantages Rewards posted to your account?  They should appear HERE in the "Dell Advantage Rewards" section, or by following the "Check your balance for rewards received through email" link in the same section.

You can't sue, just go through arbitration.  I"ll see if Robert can find out something.

This is a scam and everyone knows it.  I have been waiting since 10-30-2016 for my $250 gift card and $35 in Dell rewards.  For some reason, I was issued a $35 gift card after I started calling/emailing, but this in not what I should have received.  Every time I email, I get an automated response that states I'll get an email from a live CS rep within 24 hours.  This is not happening either.  When I finally get the response, it is formatted the exact same way telling me to wait longer!  I will be contacting AMEX on Monday and having them go ahead with a chargeback.  Considering what I make per hour for work, I have now spent 3 times the value of the missing gift card in wasted time.  This is a joke.  If Robert had any real teeth with Dell, he would've already helped the OP.
