m15 R1, error code 2000-0151

Hello , I turned my Alienware on one day to find that the HDD had disappeared after a reset it soon appeared again but my pc started running slowly and when trying to play game it kept crashing, after running a diagnostic on the device I received The error code 2000-0151 which was an issue with the hard drive I followed dell procedures updated the BIOS and re ran the test and I am still receiving the fault, Surely the hard drive has died already as I’ve only had it brand new for under a year ?

It may be a failing RAM stick. Have you tried re-seating the RAM?

Fail RAM can cause crashes/freezes and corrupt files

2000-0151 error indicates your hard disk drive (HDD) has failed and may be nearing the end of its life. Please backup the data from the system if it’s booting up.

I'm assuming windows 10 is on the computer....

Error code 2000-0151 ( per AdrianG001) usually indicate hard drive is failing or has failed  - see link below).

Just to be sure.....

If you still able to boot into windows, update the Hard drive in device manager or look for a firmware update for the hard drive in your Dell Product Support page.
