Invalid signature detected. Check secure boot in setup.

Immediately when turning my laptop on I get the red screen indicating that I have an invalid boot signature. When I press OK, it says "checking media presence" and then loads to a support page saying boot device failed.

I have tried disabling secure boot and it does skip the red screen but doesn't fix the boot failed screen. Any ideas? This is a very lightly used laptop , I just got it a month ago, and have yet to game on it .. lol

i saw your Post in the other Thread. you said you tried alot of Stuff. how about Clear CMOS / Power Drain? have you tried it?

Disconnect All Cables
Remove the Battery
Pull the Coin Cell Battery (you have to Open Your Laptop. (Check your Manual)
Hold the Power On Button for a Minute
Put Everything Back Together
Now Try to Boot

I guess that's what it says when your main drive crashes on a SecureBoot enabled system. Luckily, that hasn't come-up for me yet.

I suggest you troubleshoot like a crashed HDD/SSD.

Drain the battery charge to 10%, then you will enter normally to the OS with the continue button. When you are in the system, go to Reset this PC. That would fix you the problem with the boot.

so you fixed your Laptop? did you check your Drives for Error with HD Tune?

i believe you two have different Problems. your Windows Installation crashed because of Hardware Error while his is Windows Update / Secure Boot related.

for the Future: you don't need to Drain your Battery. just turn on your Laptop and hold the Power On Button for 5 Sec 3 Times in a Row. that will Boot the Windows Advanced Options where you can choose the Repair Option.

Hi

I'm having the same problem with my 15 R3. I've tried to repair my windows installation, unfortunately I don't know how to boot from USB. The drive appears in the bios, bit the boot sequence only shows the Windows Boot manager, ipv4 en ipv6. Any idea how I should solve this?
