Intel HD Graphics not working after Win 10 upgrade
I need some help with my Alienware 17 R1. I did a clean install of Win 10 using the Media Creation Tool. I seem to have gone wrong somewhere as I've completely lost my integrated Intel graphics card. It's missing from my Device Manager and from my BIOS. I only have access to the Geforce 770M. As such, I can't even install the Intel graphics card driver from the Dell Support site. All other drivers installed without issue.
I have no idea when I lost the card, whether during this clean install or my previous Upgrade to Win 10 as I wasn't paying attention. Note: during initial upgrade, I didn't follow the guide on Dell Support as I wasn't aware there would be specific conditions to upgrade the laptop. That means during initial upgrade I didn't turn off Secure Boot in the BIOS, nor did I uninstall my graphics card drivers prior to upgrade.
Any help would be appreciated as I need this fixed URGENTLY for some pending work.

Hi,
Try installing the On Screen Display 'OSD' driver (restart), then press FN+F5: this switches between discrete graphics and integrated graphics. You should see the card after this.
You can get the OSD driver here:

Let me know if you need something else!

Thanks for your reply. I already have both Alienware Command Center and OSD installed. I've reinstalled both too. If you check the link below, I've attached images to show the problem.

Image 1: Shows my taskbar with the icon that appears after installing OSD. It's a different icon from the one I remember but maybe this is because it's a new update.
Image 2: Shows the message that appears if I press Fn+F5 which is the keyboard shortcut to switch between the cards
Image 3: Shows my Device Manager with the missing Intel HD Graphics card. Only shows my GeForce card.
Image 4: Shows the first Menu of my BIOS, which says "Integrated Graphics Not Detected"
The remaining images are the other Menus of my BIOS.

I checked the Service Tag and your system has 3D screen so the computer won't have the Intel HD graphics card.

You have to be mistaken. I'm not sure where you're getting you're information from but I do have and have used in the past the Intel HD graphics card on my laptop. My keyboard even has a specific shortcut for it FN+F5. The lettering "I/D GFX" is on my F5 key on my keyboard which I have used in the past to switch between cards.
My Service Tag is FSGLXY1 and the Alienware 17 Specifications Manual on the Dell Support site says I have one too. Here's the link: downloads.dell.com/.../alienware-17_reference guide_en-us.pdf

If the machine has 3D, the iGFX card cannot be enabled. It will be there, because the processor will handle it, but it won't be accessible. You will still have the FN Key and the information will say the same, because there was no specific keyboard made for 3D capable machines.
We have the same system with 3D screen and non-3D screen, so the Specifications Manual will have the information because the non-3D screen has it.
