How to fix Sound not working problem on Dell Laptop

I have an dell inspiration i5 laptop with windows 10 operating system. I have just bought it from best buy. Since yesterday.. I have an issue with sound. it is not giving me sound. i have checked the sound icon and it is not muted. I have tried to update the sound driver. But still I have bad luck. there is no sound. I am surprising, why am I having such kind of problem with my dell laptop. Is there any suggestion for me.
