Hello, Does anybody know how I can check to see if my two hard drives are set up for Raid 0 on my Area 51 ALX running Windows 7 Ultimate?

I think these a couple of ways, 1) they should display your config in the bios screen/system info.
2) I guess you use intel rst manager.. so that for sure will tell u. 3) your storage/boot info flashes as u are starting up, and should be able to access the dialogue with hotkey(also displayed at startup.
and4) if look into diskmanager (run- diskmanger) it will show u there as well.

Okay, Let's take a look at disk mgr for example, disk 0 shows two partitions and disk 1 shows all unallocated space. that almost looks to me as if disk 1 was not even being used at all. So is that true or is this what Raid 0 looks like in in disk mgr?

I should have mentioned that I looked in both of those places, but the information is not stating clearly if the disks are set to Raid 0, How do I know what to look for?

It should be very clear. Intel IRST gives the most information about the data volumes. They'll be listed in the
Status and Manage sections of the IRST application Interface. The hdds should be shown, and enveloped by a balloon that indicates the type of RAID.Or if not RAIDED the discs would be listed independently showing their size and read/write policies.

Okay so I managed to take a picture of this and had to shrink i'ts size in paint for the upload and for whatever reason it decided it wanted to upload upside down, please tell me if this is what you are talking about and I hope you can enlarge it enough to read it clearly...from what I can see it does loo k like it is set to raid 0 but I really don't know for sure. also let me know if any further adjustments need to be made in disk management. I truly appreciate your help!

It is RAIDED, add the 2 disc sizes in 'physical disks' and see it DOES match the Size of the striped raid volume.. ( the snippet u sent ), You're OK.

You wll have to play with the 'Shrink Volumes" to have a volume for your personal files. Disk manger seems to not indicate 'striped' as the Hardware Information screen/pic u sent earlier. But mine does not either while I am using RAID. I say its good.
