Aurora R6 fan appearing to make loud noises.

I just bought an Aurora R6 on 10/04/17. The very first time I started it up it has been making a loud noise. It sounds like a fan just being loud in general or clicking against something. (I'm not tech savvy enough to pinpoint exactly where it's coming from.) While I can easily just put my headset on and not hear it, I imagine the computer was not designed to be loud . What steps do I need to take to get this taken care of?

Hi ‌,

Update the Bios version to the latest in our website and let me know how it goes.

I have done so. It still is making the sound unfortunately.

With computer turned on, remove the side panel. You have three fans: a front lower, one in the power supply, one in the roof top, pretty simple. From there you can try to listen for which one it is. If it helps, you can swing the power supply out (if the sound moves with the power supply, that's the likely culprit - if not - it's either the top roof or bottom front fan). With a flashlight or similar lamp, inspect all three fans; if a cable settled in shipping or was poorly routed during assembly a fanblade might be nicking it, so move it out of way / see if issue solved. If not, issue is resident in the fan itself or a sub-system the fan belongs to --> report your findings to TechSupport and await instructions

As a guy, I'd smack it a few times to see if it fixed it ... ... ...

If updating the Bios version did not work, what is the next step?
