Alienware 17 R3 Laptop Bluetooth has disappeared Win 10
Hello, first I'd like to apologize if this has already been posted, but I couldn't find anything that specifically dealt with it. Today (12/28/15) when I got up and turned on my computer, everything was fine, and the Bluetooth symbol was there, it was on, and all was right with the world. This evening, I was working on my computer, opened up my Fitbit app. It has a message that Bluetooth was turned off. I thought that was weird so I clicked on "show hidden icons" and the Bluetooth icon was gone. I went in to "settings," clicked on "Devices, Bluetooth, Printers, Mouse," and the Bluetooth category was gone. I went into device manager, and don't see anything in the list that has anything to do with Bluetooth. So basically, I'm at a loss. I don't know how the Bluetooth can just disappear. I haven't done any updates, and I was away from my computer most of the day until this evening when I discovered the issue. Has anybody else had this issue? Is there someway I can get it back? I did make a recovery flash drive a few weeks ago, but I don't want to go that route unless I need to. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Go to Device Manager, then Network Adapters and check if you have the Killer Wireless-AC 1535 card listed there. If you do, install this driver for the Bluetooth.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry for my taking so long to respond. I checked Device Manager, and I don't have the Killer Wireless AC 1535 card. It appears mine is, Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Bluetooth 4.1; however, the next day it just reappeared, and (so far) has stayed there since. I don't know what that was all about, it seems to be ok now.
