Auto-Renewal Terms for McAfee Subscriptions

Auto-renewal ensures continued use of McAfee products until you choose to cancel, with no need to keep track of renewal dates. Dell will notify you of upcoming renewals and will automatically renew your subscription until you decide to cancel.

On the Scheduled Charge Date (as defined below), your payment method will be charged the then-current renewal rate plus applicable tax.

After activation, Dell will send an email confirming the exact renewal date.

For Annual Subscriptions:

  • The renewal date will be approximately one year after you first activate your McAfee subscription.

  • The Scheduled Charge Date will be approximately 30 days prior to the renewal date to allow adequate time to process your renewal prior to subscription expiry. You must have the Automatic Renewal option enabled on the Scheduled Charge Date to automatically renew your subscription.

  • 35 days and 15 days prior to the Scheduled Charge Date, Dell will notify you of the exact amount of the charge via email to the address it has on file for you. You will be provided with an option to cancel the automatic renewal.

For Monthly Subscriptions:

  • The renewal date will be approximately one month after you first activate your McAfee subscription.

  • The Scheduled Charge Date will be approximately 30 days prior to the renewal date to allow adequate time to process your renewal prior to the subscription expiry. You must have the Automatic Renewal option enabled on the Scheduled Charge Date to automatically renew your subscription.





Stopping Automatic Renewal for McAfee Subscriptions

Turn off the Automatic Renewal option at any time after activation in the Dell Digital Locker at www.dell.com/support/software-and-subscriptions. Login using the Dell.com account used to order your product. You will find your subscription in the “Subscriptions” menu. View your subscription details and then choose “Manage Subscription Renewal” and then “Turn off automatic renewal” to opt out of future subscription renewals.

To avoid a renewal charge for the next period, automatic renewal must be turned off prior to the Scheduled Charge Date.
