Note: This article is specific to Dell computers sold in Japan with Office before March 2022.
Dell computers sold in Japan with Microsoft Office come with a physical Microsoft Product Information (MPI) card that contains a 5X5 Microsoft Office key. This key is required to activate the factory installed Office software.
Warning: Dell nor Microsoft is unable to replace lost MPI cards.
The MPI card is in an envelope that is attached to the computer package.
